CONSULTATION ON THE DETERMINED ADMISSIONS ARRANGEMENTS 2027-28
The Primary First Trust, as the admissions authority, is consulting and seeking comments on the Determined Admissions Arrangements for 2027 for Parkwood Primary School.
BACKGROUND
School
admissions code 2021 states:
Admission authorities must set
(‘determine’) admission arrangements annually. Where changes are proposed to
admission arrangements, the admission authority must first publicly consult on
those arrangements. If no changes are
made to admission arrangements, they must be consulted on at least once every 7
years.
In January 2025, Parkwood
Primary School became an academy within The Primary First Trust. Authority
for admissions has therefore passed to The Primary First Trust and the
Admissions Arrangements have been updated to reflect that, taking account of our
statutory duties, the School Admissions Code and our own admissions procedures. As part of the process, we must now consult
publicly ahead of these Arrangements being determined.

THE CONSULTATION PROCESS
The consultation will run from Monday
3rd November 2025 for six weeks. We are
inviting stakeholders and members of the local community to respond. These are namely, but not limited to:
1. Parents and Carers
2. Members of School Staff
3. Members of the Local Governance
Partnership Body
4. The Local Authority
5. Local primary schools
6. Members of the local community

Following the consultation
period the Trust Board will consider any comments received.
Any comments must be sent no
later than midday on Friday 12th December 2025.
